Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public broad access to many existing public records, but Greenwood County records are not held by one office. The Clerk of the District Court handles district court case files, dockets, public terminal appointments, written court-record requests, certified copies, and copy fees. The County Clerk handles county-government records under KORA, commission minutes, tax-levy records, transfer records for taxation, licenses, permits, and other administrative records.
Greenwood County also has local details that are easy to miss. The District Court and County Attorney are State of Kansas offices even though they are located in the courthouse. Eureka Municipal Court handles city ordinance matters. The sheriff website points users to VINELink and CorrectPay instead of a county-hosted jail roster. Those differences affect where a person must search or request a record.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to Greenwood County, any Kansas court, the Greenwood County Sheriff, the Clerk of the District Court, the County Clerk, KDHE, KDOC, KBI, or any state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Kansas case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, court hour, or portal link is current at the moment you use it
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what appears in their results.
